Standing Notices Healing Service: Anointing with oil and the laying on of hands for healing is offered during the celebration of The Holy Eucharist after the Confession of Sin on the first Sunday of each month. Home Communion: If you are unable to attend church on Sunday, please call Father Skip or Deacon Marilou and they will make arrangements to bring communion to you during the week. Food Collection: On the first Sunday of each month we have a food collection to support the BACN (Benzie Area Christian Neighbors) food bank. Items that they need on are the bulletin board and listed in the bulletin on the last Sunday of the month. Lunch Bag Collection: On the last Sunday of each month we have our two-cents-a-meal lunch bag collection to support the food banks in Benzie County. In this program you are asked to take a lunch bag home and place two cents in it every time you eat a meal. By doing this we are reminded of the hungry people who live in our community. Baby Pantry St. Philip's Baby Pantry is a free service to all parents in Benzie County with chi9ldren ages birth to 5. Open the first and third Saturdays of the monty from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Items needed to keep the project going are: new or nearly new infant's and children's clothing, outerwear, cups, bowls, formula, toys (not stuffed), socks, shoes, wipes, books, bibs, diapers, food, etc. Contact the church office 882-4506 for information.
